I have a confession.

I HATE ROSES.

There, I said it. I feel better, you?

Seriously though, everyone has these stupid overly popular flowers in their yard, they are the "timeless romantic gesture," except that if EVERYONE does it, it is not romantic AT ALL.

But how cute is this picture? PS I got all these pictures from thepioneerwoman.com, Ree Drummond you are awesome!

I will be moving here now thanks.

The Style Rookie.

This BLOG is absolutely HILARIOUS!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, pleeeez go read this girls blog. Apart from feeling like a total creeper for reading a 13-year-old genius' blog, you are going to laugh at her winning persona which shines through her homemade collages and obviously absurd view of herself. You know how you sometimes describe someone as beautiful? Well, beautiful is wall paint for this talented little freak because she is far above and beyond unique and I think there are same MAYJAH plans in store for this girl! Read her blog, laugh and wish you were half as cool as she is. Serious.

Uh...another from the crazy deep voiced Chocolate Rain dude.

Huh. How does that even happen?

Home at LAST!!

I spent the last week on a series of blow up mattresses squeezed between my spider monkey brother and my sleep walking and talking sister, so let me tell you, when I crawled into MY OWN BED last night, it was a DIVINE experience.

That being said, I had an AWESOME holiday (see posts below) and I am TOTALLY looking forward to New Years Eve because...WE ARE GOING TO LONG BEACH TO WATCH TRAVIS PASTRANA JUMP A RALLY CAR OFF THE PEIR!!

I can't possibly think of a better way to ring in the new year! If it is allowed I will take loads of pics and videos and post them on here when I get back.

I also watched The Hangover at least 10 times over the weekend, and my sister and I were singing this song all week:

And now for my favorite lines:

"Can you please get some pants on, I find it a little wierd I have to ask twice!"

"Pants at a time like this!"

AND if you want to learn how to play this epic song on the piano...here is a tutorial from some awesome person with WAY too much time on his hands:

Adventures in Snowmobiling

For Christmas my parents took us to Yellowstone National Park for a day of snowmobiling. It was amazing, and the park is absolutely breathtakingly lovely.

There are hot springs, geysers, and steam everywhere. It's majestic to say the least!

Yea. Merry Christmas to meeeee!

Naturally, we made snow angels everywhere...

BUT THE BEST PART WAS SNOWMOBILING!!!!!!!

Sorry, I am tired. I have no more words today. Enjoy the view!

This is all I want for Christmas.

Sigh. My better half has the dog with his family, and I miss her so much!

The Great Christmas Vacation of 2009...Holy Moly.

First off, how cute are these kids who were caroling at the mall? Yea I am a last minute shopper.

Okay, okay now for the story...

This year my parents are moving to Idaho. SO, I had to fly to Idaho, with my sister who isn't old enough to fly by herself (ha, ha) to see the parents. WOOT, traveling during the holidays with everyone else in the country...

Gotta love early morning flights! This hot mess could be coming to an airport near you!

Then there was the THREE HOUR BUS RIDE from the airport to BFE where my parents live...

I saw this on the way...this is how I knew I had made it to Idaho. Good lord, are these people for real?

Oh, and this was the coolest round about I have EVER seen. This is normally a bronze statue with a waterfall...but as you can see it's colder than a well diggers as$ in Idaho right now.

Nonetheless, it was still breathtakingly beautiful.

Enough so that the family had to stop IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROUND ABOUT, STOPPING TRAFFIC, and take a picture. This $hit would never fly in California.

I got a little of the tourist fever myself. Besides, I got cute boots for Christmas, and this was my opportunity to show them off.

As if I hadn't traveled enough, the parents decided we should all travel EVEN MORE to Yellowstone Park for a weekend snowmobiling trip. Despite the 3 hour car ride (OMG!!), it was beautiful!

Breathtaking.

I mean, wow. I am loving this scenery!

Despite the fact that I was stuck in a truck with my crazy a$s family, I mean amazing and fabulous blood relations...there were some amazing sights along the way!

I still wanted the hell out of the vehicle. At least my sister helped me stay sane...

...she helped save me from this little booger picker who wouldn't stop stealing my hat...and the incessant talking!!
"Hey Jessi..."
"Hey Jessi..."
"Did you know..."
OMG!!!!!!!

As crazy as he makes me...I just love that cute little smile.

NOW STOP STEALING MY HAT!!

When we finally got there, the first thing we did was make snow angels. :)

Stay tuned for adventures in snow mobiling...
(BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!! THANK YOU!)

My sister is coming to visit me tomorrow - yay!!!! She is staying with me until we fly to Idaho on Thursday. I wish my brother was coming to stay as well, but I get to see him when I fly to Idaho, so that is exciting as well! I miss the siblings!!

All I want for Christmas is...

...THIS CAR!! Good heavens, I would drive the sh*t out of this car!!!!

Oh mama, behold the BMW M1 Concept. Lordy, lordy I need a towel.
I will pay Hommage (pun intended!) to the first M1 by breaking in the front seat of this car. :)
Tom Kaulitz? Let me know when you are free. ;-)

This is the sweetest article I have ever read. I love stories of "true love" and "soul mates." Call me a softy, but I teared up for this one.

Best Robbery Video EVER!

Gradimitation (thats Jessi speak for "Graduation.")

Once upon a time a lovely couple embarked on a road trip to San Luis Obispo, CA for a graduation ceremony.

They took their dog, who loves road trips. AHEM. I said...

Nevermind.

Eventually, the man went crazy because his girlfriend kept asking that timeless question...

Are we there YET?

Once they were there...they went to a delicious dinner with friends.

This is Lisa. I made her take this picture so I would have proof that I do in fact have friends. See, I told you.

I never said they were normal.

Then, as if all the Saki bombs we drank weren't enough, I went to a wine and cheese party afterwards...and then I went to the bars...and then I slept for a really long time...

Except I eventually had to coordinate my family for the main event - MY GRADUATION!
I got my Masters degree.
WOOT!

Turns out, if you get there early enough you are first in line to graduate. Everyone in the audience probably thinks I am head of the class, highest GPA or maybe even the valedictorian.
Hahaa, haahahaaaaa.
I fooled them. I was still drunk from the night before. HAHAHAH!
I win.

Oh, and Ree Drummond (thepioneerwoman.com) came to my GRADUATION!!

The ladies on either side of me are the two greatest people on the planet and I don't know what I would do without them. Honestly.

Or maybe they wouldn't know what to do without me...or with me...or whatever.

Blogging Ecstasy

SOOOOoooo this Saturday is the day that I will graduate in an OFFICIAL ceremony and I will recieve my masters degree. WOOT!

Actually I am not that excited. MY ENTIRE FAMILY is going to be in one place, all at the same time. I will be in that place too. I will be the one shifting uncomfortably and asking the waiter for more Jack and less Coke.

Yipes!

So...

The concept for the Gullwing was really quite breath taking. Tyler said it best, "Mine?"

Unfortunately...the execution...was a total fail.

Ugly. So ugly.
